Registered Nurse (RN) - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $31-43 per hour

About the role

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Detroit, Michigan. This is a full‑time, staff position with ongoing employment. Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities
• Provides leadership, partnership, collaboration, teaching, and supervision

Requirements

• Graduation from a school of nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required
