Registered Nurse (RN) - PHP/IOP - PRN

About the role

The Schedule PRN position at Rogers Memorial Hospital requires a registered nurse (RN, RN II, RN III) to perform professional nursing activities in the care of patients. This role is governed by the Nurse Practice Act, administrative codes, and professional standards for nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessments and document as required.
• Collect, record, and analyze patient data within prescribed timeframe.
• Act as an advocate for patients.
• Initiate and update treatment plans and documentation as required.
• Implement patient care based on established care plans, hospital policies, and unit standards.
• Assure all admissions, transfers, and related patient care activities are delivered in accordance with EMTALA and regulatory requirements.
• Assume charge nurse role, coordinate unit activities, and manage the therapeutic milieu.
• Participate in projects, tasks, and continuing education opportunities to improve professional skills and unit/departments systems.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Registered nurse license by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Pay

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

PRN (as needed coverage when clinic is open, M-F) with typical shift of 8am - 4:30pm. Ideal candidates are open to supporting both Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls locations.
