Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics - Inpatient - Full Time, Days (Peds experience required)

About the job

Deliver patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practices and the Professional Practice Model
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Engage patients and families as partners in care, respecting preferences, values, and needs
Assess, prioritize, and implement individualized care plans
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to plan, document, and manage patient care
Apply data and quality improvement methods to enhance patient safety and outcomes
Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and care delivery
Maintain confidentiality and ensure patient privacy at all times
Delegate appropriate care tasks and support team-based care delivery
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Incorporate technology and informatics to support clinical decision-making and reduce errors
Promote a culture of safety and participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives
Identify and contribute to system improvements through error analysis and process evaluation

Requirements

• ADN required, BSN preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license required
• Specialty board certification preferred
• Inpatient pediatric experience required
• Certifications & Competencies: Basic Life Support (within 30 days), Intravenous Therapy (within 90 days), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC (within 180 days), Mother-Baby Post-Partum Care (within 1 year)
