Registered Nurse / RN Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
• Care for patients including those in medical-surgical, oncology, and pediatric units requiring moderate sedation for special procedures and testing.
• Work in a team environment with a staff ratio of 1-3 patients per nurse, based on patient acuity.
• Report to the Pediatric charge nurse and manage care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating, and communicating with all necessary providers and ancillary departments.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain PALS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Obtain ONS certification within 1 year of hire.
