Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time Days, - Ortho

About the role

This part-time day position is for an RN on 5 Pavilion at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, caring for a mix of surgical orthopedic, surgical bariatric, and general medical/surgical patients. Patients typically include post-operative joint replacements, pre-operative fractures, and post-operative roux-en-y (RYGB).

What You Will Do

• Ensures quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice
• Utilizing the Nursing Process, plans, directs and supervises the care of patients in addition to being involved in the provision of direct care of patients and families

What You Will Need

• Current and valid NYS RN license (or plan to obtain if recent/future graduate)
• ASN/BSN from an accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Effective verbal and written communication

Pay

$41.00 - $51.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
