Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time
About the Role
Provides general nursing care to patients in our nursing home facility. We are looking for talented, innovative, and friendly Registered Nurses to join our team at Shalom Park, an Eden Registered community in Aurora, CO. Responsibilities
- Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient
- Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies the Physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents; may notify supervisor as needed
- Performs nursing assessments to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient
- Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
- Documents interventions, patient behaviors and physical assessments for assigned patients
- Initiates a patient/family-education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient/family, as prescribed by Physician
- Participates in department or unit quality improvement activities
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
- Active, in good-standing, Registered Nurse License in the State of Colorado
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification

Schedule
- Friday day shift
- Monday day shift
- Sunday/Monday day shift
- Sunday/Monday evening shift
Day Shift = 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Evening Shift = 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Night Shift = 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
Pay
Compensation Range: $39.50-$54.50/hr depending on experience
