About the role

Responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients and families, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing duties, administer medications, and coordinate patient care activities.
• Assist providers during procedures, examinations, and tests, ensuring proper equipment preparation.
• Monitor, document, and report patient conditions, reactions, and responses to treatments.
• Manage appointment scheduling, prioritize emergency cases, and maintain patient flow.
• Greet patients, conduct assessments, obtain health histories, take vital signs, and document information.
• Respond promptly to patient calls, providing guidance in collaboration with physicians.
• Educate patients and families on diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and health maintenance.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms, prepare medical supplies, and ensure proper labeling of specimens.
• Perform quality control on lab tests and keep detailed records.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice state.
• Ability to perform essential functions, including effective communication, visual acuity, and hearing.
• Commitment to confidentiality, teamwork, safety standards, and professional development.
