Registered Nurse (RN), PACU PRN

Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Maintains a safe and sterile environment for patient care.
- Maintains effective communication with the interdisciplinary team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
- A current Michigan RN license.
- An associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care unit protocols and procedures.
