Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Jefferson Highway PART TIME

About the role

We are seeking a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, while ensuring quality patient outcomes and maintaining involvement in achieving unit and departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and promote changes to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and cultural differences.

Requirements

This position requires a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, but not required. A current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association are mandatory. Certification in a clinical specialty area is preferred.

Qualifications

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential.

Skills

Knowledge of the nursing process, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to manage nursing team resources. Familiarity with data analysis and evaluation to promote change. Ability to adapt behavior to different patient populations and maintain high levels of professionalism and ethical conduct.
