Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Surgery Services (Post-Op)

About the role

As an Outpatient Surgery Services RN joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. Outpatient Surgery RNs support the recovery of patients from 10 operating rooms with service lines that include Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ear Nose and Throat, Neurology and Podiatry. In this role you will work in the hospital setting.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities
• Documents patient care provided
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts as schedule changes frequently
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Will admit (preop) and discharge patients

Schedule

• 4x10, Days, Rotating Start Times
• On-call Rotation (4-6 weekdays/weekends every 6 weeks)

Requirements

• Current Arizona or Compact State RN license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS required upon hire
• Minimum of 1 year bedside nursing required

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
• Surgical nursing preferred
