Responsibilities
- Utilizes strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
- Implements clinical nursing interventions

- Congruently delivers exceptional nursing care to patients
- Conducts and analyzes initial and ongoing patient assessment, creates plan of care, implements treatments and evaluates treatment effectiveness
- Restores, supports, promotes, rehabilitates, or palliates to maintain the physiologic, psychologic and psychosocial stability of patients across the lifespan
- Administers chemotherapy and other medication, starts IV's, transfuses blood and blood products and performs therapeutic phlebotomies
- Anticipates and responds with confidence and adapts to rapidly changing patient conditions

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support acceptable in lieu of BLS)
- ONS Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- One (1) year of medical/surgical or oncology experience (preferred, not required)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
Qualifications
