Department: LPG Adult GI | Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shift (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

Minimum to midpoint pay rate: $30.27 - $40.86 per hour

About the role

Lee Physician Group has a full-time outpatient Registered Nurse position in their Interventional GI Department. This role offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and the potential to be a hybrid nursing position.

Responsibilities

  • Phone triage
  • Manage in-baskets through Epic
  • Process referrals
  • Perform pill cam placements
  • Deliver and document safe patient care using the nursing process in collaboration with physicians, practice leadership, and care team members
  • Coordinate nursing care in the practice setting or telephonically to ensure effective, efficient, and desired patient outcomes
  • Support and guide the care team in collaboration with practice and physician leadership based on treatment plans and clinical nursing practice standards
  • Demonstrate proficient use of tools and resources to educate, mentor, validate competencies, and evaluate unlicensed and licensed clinical staff
  • Contribute to quality care through excellent customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive patient outcomes
  • Serve as a resource for internal and external customers regarding patient care, utilizing appropriate knowledge, experience, and interpersonal skills

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Office/outpatient experience preferred (experience requirements may vary by department)
  • Certification in Ambulatory Nursing preferred (certification requirements may vary by department)
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Above-average communication skills
  • Adaptable and participative with technology changes
