About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized treatment based on evidence-based practice and clinical standards. They perform the nursing process, advocate for patients and families, and promote cultural sensitivity in care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care and document accurately.
- Support performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in research and evidence-based practice projects.
- Serve as a preceptor and mentor to develop a skilled nursing workforce.
- Uphold professional ethics and clinical competencies.
- Develop and implement protocols to optimize resource use.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
- Respond decisively to emergencies in fast-paced environments.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in nursing.
- Current Georgia RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required in certain areas.
