Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse, RN specializing in Orthopedics. Responsibilities
- Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
- Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
- Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
- Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

- ASLS certification preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) is also required.
