Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics - $34-45 per hour

Join our dedicated healthcare team at DMC Sinai‑Grace Hospital, the largest hospital in the Detroit Medical Center, which offers a comprehensive heart center, cancer care, gerontology, emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, cosmetic services and a renowned joint replacement program featuring minimally invasive knee and hip surgery. The orthopedic unit (2 West) is a 25‑bed telemetry unit that also handles neurology, oral & maxillofacial, gynecological and trauma cases, with EKG‑trained staff and a team of RNs and PCAs specialized in orthopedic patient care and surgery. Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers
- Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care
- Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members
- Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge
- Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities
Requirements
- Graduation from a school of nursing
