Registered Nurse RN OR First Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking an Operating Room First Assistant Registered Nurse at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. This role provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a surgical environment. We offer mentorship opportunities, clinical education courses, professional certification support, and educational assistance.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or ARNP in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
• Completed 2250 hours surgical rotation.
• Current Certified First Assistant (CFA) having completed 350 cases.
• Two years of experience within the last four years.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Current Certification as First Assistant (CFA) required.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
