About the role
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating room in Suffolk, VA! Full time Day Shift. This position will float between Obici and BelleHarbour locations.
Responsibilities
- Performs a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
- Manages complex cases in fast-paced environments.
- Communicates with patients and providers.
Requirements
- Scrub and circulator experience in an OR required.
- Candidates who have completed a PeriOp 101 program required.
- Candidates who have previous Operating Room Experience required.
Qualifications
- Registered nursing License (Required).
- AACLS required within 1 year of hire.
- PALS within 1 year of hire.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire.
Skills
- Advanced systems like DaVinci robotic technology.
