Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Coordinator

About the Role

This position is for a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator in surgical services, demonstrating expertise, knowledge, and leadership in patient care and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate surgeon and patient needs
• Stay current with surgical techniques
• Mentor staff and assist with staff education
• Circulate in surgical cases
• Ensure equipment availability and manage inventory
• Organize daily cases and order supplies
• Coordinate cases and staff assignments
• Oversee service line quality and organize patient care activities
• Support staff development
• Promote positive customer relations

Requirements

• BSN preferred
• 3-5 years of operating room (OR) experience
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• CNOR certification preferred
