Job Description: The Operating Room Circulator (OR/CIRC) RN is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the operating room environment, including patient care, equipment management, and team communication. The OR/CIRC RN ensures that the surgical team adheres to sterile techniques and hospital protocols while maintaining a safe and efficient OR. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing the operating room for procedures, assisting with patient positioning, monitoring patient vital signs, documenting intraoperative care, and ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are accounted for. The OR/CIRC RN also acts as a liaison between the surgical team and other hospital departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Requirements: Active Hawaii RN license or eligibility for licensure in Hawaii. BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. 1-2 years of recent experience as an OR/CIRC RN. Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification. Experience with electronic health records (EHR). Immediate opening for an Operating Room Circulator (OR/CIRC) Registered Nurse (RN) in Kealakekua, Hawaii. 1–2 years of recent specialty experience and flexibility to adapt to new environments required.
Responsibilities
