About the role
As an Operating Room Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center, you would provide 1:1 care to patients before, during, and after surgery. You would work alongside world-renowned surgeons to scrub and circulate various cases including Trauma, General, Urology, GYN, Orthopedics/Neuro, ENT, Plastics, Reconstructive Surgery, Colorectal, Thoracic, Vascular, and Cardiac.Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
- Assist surgeons with surgical procedures, including prepping and draping patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Pennsylvania RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
