REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - OPERATING ROOM
About the role
We perform surgeries in a variety of specialties including Ortho, Spine, Gynecological, ENT, Plastics, Digestive, Bariatric, and General Surgery. Our surgery schedule generally runs Monday through Friday and call for our OR staff is minimal.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all surgical patients
- Assess for and anticipate the needs of surgeons
- Manage operating room suites in accordance with AORN guidelines in regards to patient safety
- Properly conduct documentation
- High-quality patient care
Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Idaho
- Active BLS and ACLS certification within six months of employment
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
- Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement
- Previous PACU, ambulatory care, critical care or general nursing experience preferred
- Awareness of professional nursing standards and performance in accordance with them
Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Idaho
