About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, focusing care goals on patient preferences.
- Coordinate safe, quality care documentation and foster respectful, inclusive teamwork.
- Support performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and workforce development.
- Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Plan across the care continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact).
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of an accredited nursing program.
