About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. They practice in a clinical setting guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with nursing licensure and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, focusing care goals on patient preferences.
• Coordinate safe, quality care documentation and foster respectful, inclusive teamwork.
• Support performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and workforce development.
• Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Plan across the care continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of an accredited nursing program.
