About the role

Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing compassionate, patient-centered care to cancer patients, supporting them through treatment, symptom management, and supportive care.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborating with healthcare teams
• Supporting patients of all ages
• Ensuring safety with appropriate PPE and infection control measures
• Support patients and families through all phases of the cancer journey
• Foster teamwork
• Adhere to organizational values of trust, compassion, respect, and innovation
• Work in both office and patient care areas, with physical activity such as walking, standing, and lifting involved

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care
• Certifications like ACLS or PALS are advantageous
