Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Works closely with providers to ensure patients meet observation criteria.
- Maintains patient safety and monitors for changes in condition.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Affords patients with personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation assistance.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
Qualifications
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.

Pay
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants.
Schedule
5 x 12-hour shifts, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends and Holidays.
