Registered Nurse (RN) OB GYN , Full Time

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120-bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board-certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Requirements

• California RN license.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification, with successful completion of the course every two years.
• AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within the New to Specialty training program.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program.
• NRP certification (successful completion of the course by the AAP and AHA).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery required.
• One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Post Partum preferred.
• RN’s with less than one year of experience must complete a 12-16 week preceptorship program.
