Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Supervisor Full-Time Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for supervising and coordinating resident care in a long-term care setting. Key Responsibilities Assigns staff duties according to policies, promotes teamwork, and ensures proper resident care within acceptable time frames.Completes rounds to assess residents, reports concerns, and updates the Director of Nursing with shift reports.Manages and disciplines staff as needed, supporting performance improvement through constructive feedback.Empowers staff by promoting responsibility, accountability, and autonomy to enhance resident outcomes.Reviews and updates care plans based on resident assessment, and implements appropriate nursing interventions.Provides resident and family education, ensuring understanding of healthcare needs.Participates in direct patient care, responding to call lights, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.Completes documentation such as QAPI reports, labor forms, and monitors pharmacy recommendations.Coordinates activities across the facility, analyzes problems, and initiates timely resolutions.Handles crisis situations professionally, investigates staff concerns, and communicates actions taken.May perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the working state.Two years of supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.Three to five years of nursing experience or similar.Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer residents weighing 200+ lbs with proper techniques.Manual dexterity, coordination, and attention to detail for documentation and resident care.Visual acuity and ability to manage diverse activities effectively.
