Registered Nurse (RN) - NRT

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) - NRT position at Tidelands Health is responsible for managing individualized patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, providing physical and psychological support, and supervising assigned team members.

Responsibilities

• Conducts an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing data collection based on patient’s immediate condition or needs within specified timeframes.
• Maintains confidentiality and provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that respects patient and family diversity.
• Monitors patient’s condition, assesses needs, and provides appropriate treatments and medications.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and educates patients and families on their care.
• Documents patient condition, assessment findings, and progress towards problem resolution.
• Initiates emergency resuscitative measures according to protocols.
• Observes and interprets patient symptoms, communicating them to providers and other staff during shift changes.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited institution.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited institution.
• Master's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited institution.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Previous experience in an acute care setting.

Skills and Abilities

• Works effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EMR) for patient-level care and coordination.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others to improve quality and address needs.
