Job Summary

CareScout’s Field Team independent contractor positions offer nurses the opportunity to build a rewarding career and a flexible lifestyle. These positions involve conducting cognitive and functional assessments for older adults in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete cognitive and functional assessments for older adults in their home
• Decide which assessments and how many to take through a simple app
• Conduct assessments of long-term care insurance policyholders
• Collect information on the insured’s current and past medical history
• Document the insured’s functional and cognitive levels
• Administer a short cognitive exam
• Lead the insured through a short demonstration activity

Requirements

• Valid, current RN license, in good standing
• Technically savvy and able to access a laptop or tablet for real-time assessments
• Willingness to travel within 15 miles of home or further

Pay

Fixed rates for each assessment are determined through the CareScout online portal.

Schedule

As a Field Team Partner, you can choose your own schedule based on the assessments you accept.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing is required
• Knowledge of long-term care insurance policies is beneficial
