Registered Nurse RN NICU
Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced NICU nurse to join our team in our award-winning Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at our Regional Medical Center.
About the role
As a nurse in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will provide the highest level of care for premature and critically ill babies. Our 32-bed unit, featuring 2 transition rooms, offers 24-hour comprehensive specialty care for preemies and the sickest full-term infants. The NICU includes a pinwheel design with designated family areas, overnight transition rooms, eating space, lockers, and a playroom for siblings.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, social workers, occupational therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, lactation consultants, infection control specialists, and chaplains. Our programs achieve NICU length-of-stay and complication rates significantly lower than the national average, providing individualized care based on medical and developmental needs.

Requirements
- Current Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months of hire if using multistate license)
- Basic Life Support certification
- 1 year of NICU experience (preferred)
- Willingness to obtain NRP within 6 months of hire and STABLE certification within 1 year of hire
