Get to know your team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

• Function as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes.
• Direct and oversee the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Effectively coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
• Report to the Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification or the American Red Cross (ARC).
• 1-2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
