About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Initiate an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and families.
• Interpret assessment data and information to develop a comprehensive nursing care plan, including problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short-term and long-term goals, and discharge planning.
• Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation goals.
• Affirm that all documentation in the medical record is complete, accurate, and timely.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid state RN license required.
• BLS certification required at the time of hire.
• Flexibility to meet the requirements of the new graduate orientation program.
