Position Overview: Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Neurology Lead to provide clinical leadership within a specialized neurology practice. Work Environment: Office setting with exposure to equipment cleaning solutions; fast-paced with frequent interruptions; requires mobility, lifting, and adherence to PPE guidelines. Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff training, orientation, and competency assessments
- Oversee clinical schedules
- Supervise LPNs and Medical Assistants
- Triage and assess patients for early intervention
- Educate patients and families on health and disease management
- Safely administer medications
- Maintain CLIA Waived Lab standards and oversee laboratory testing
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with in-office procedures and perform Non Stress Testing on OB patients
- Provide educational support to staff
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience
- Current NY RN license
- CPR certification
- Preferred experience in primary or specialty care and supervisory roles
- Valid driver’s license
