Join the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) at Novant Health, where you'll care for some of the most critically ill patients while building specialized expertise in neurological critical care.
Department: Neuro ICU
Location: Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC
Schedule: 7pm-7am, Night Shift, Full-time
What You'll Do
- Make a meaningful impact by combining advanced clinical knowledge with compassionate, patient-centered care during some of the most critical moments in a patient's recovery.
- Work alongside neuro-intensivists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, rehabilitation specialists, dietitians, case managers, and fellow critical care nurses in a highly collaborative environment.
- Provide reassurance and compassionate communication for patients and families navigating some of life's most challenging moments.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
