Pay
$34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an hourly position with a night shift differential of $4.00/hr and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr. Sign-on bonus of $9,000 with a 1-year work commitment (new graduates and external candidates).
Schedule
- Self-scheduled per 6-week plotter
- Weekend shift requirements based on RN experience:
- 0-4 years: 4 weekend shifts
- 4-10 years: 3 weekend shifts
- 10-15 years: 2 weekend shifts
- 15+ years: No weekend shifts

About the Role
Protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure. Collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS (required prior to start date)
Qualifications
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Preferred Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
- Other Skills/Knowledge: Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applications
