About the role

Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice. Focuses on the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs of patients.

  • Coordinates the effective and efficient delivery of patient care services

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree, and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Proficiency in manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Capacity to lift and move patients or medical equipment as needed
  • Visual acuity and color perception
  • Auditory ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
  • Stamina and resilience to handle the physical and emotional demands of providing patient care
  • Mobility to navigate clinical environments
  • Compliance with infection control protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment

Hourly pay rate is commensurate with experience.

Work schedule is 8 hours per week.
