Registered Nurse (RN)- Mother Baby/Well Baby Nursery

Responsibilities

• Consistently meets work schedule.
• Demonstrates critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and team members to coordinate health care services.
• Answers patient/significant others phone calls, evaluates patient's needs, and triages patient care.
• Provides patient/family education using resources available.
• Acts as liaison between patient, significant others, and health team members.
• Identifies areas for professional growth.
• Participates fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Requirements

• Associate Degree Nursing
• High School Graduate
• 1 or more years of previous healthcare experience
• Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing OR Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multi-State - State Board of Nursing
• CPR/ AED/ BLS
