Registered Nurse (RN) - Minor Treatment and Endoscopy

Summary

The Minor Treatment & Endoscopy Unit at Maine Medical Center – Biddeford is seeking a full-time nurse to join their team. This position will regularly work at both the Biddeford and Kennebunk locations. On-call responsibilities include weeknights and weekends.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Experience in Endoscopy, conscious sedation, ED, or ICU is preferred
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. ACLS and PALS certifications required within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines for ICU, SCU, ED, and PACU units. NRP certification required within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines for OB and NICU units. Remote positions may not require BLS certification.
• Experience: One year of RN experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse – Acute Care role.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.
