Registered Nurse (RN) MICU

About the role

We are a 30-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. Our patient population consists of adult and geriatric medical and surgical critical care patients. We care for patients that require ventilators, central lines, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), mass blood transfusions, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), and more!

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• A registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in a critical care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols.

Pay

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.

Schedule

3, 12-hour day shifts per week. Holiday rotation. Weekend rotation.
