Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by shared governance and evidence-based practices. They uphold professional standards aligned with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics, ensuring adherence to policies and system goals. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent patient-centered care, engaging patients and families through effective communication and education.Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and promoting an inclusive environment.Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care quality.Support resource efficiency and protocol development to improve patient outcomes, including readmission reduction and safety metrics.Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster workforce development and modeling professional nursing practices. Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and Basic Life Support certification required.Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and professional development skills.
