About the role
Provides direct patient care as a Med Surg Registered Nurse, promoting patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Educating patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs
- Ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Developing and communicating individualized care plans
- Evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Respecting patient preferences and barriers
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required
- RN license
- Preferred BSN and less than 2 years of experience
- Med/Surg experience is a plus
