Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg on a 36-bed unit focused on post-surgical and high-acuity patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination, transfers, and discharges
- Educate patients and families
- Delegate tasks to ancillary staff and precept students or new hires
- Ensure quality patient outcomes
- Support patient education
- Contribute to a collaborative care environment
Qualifications
- Valid Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain
- New graduates encouraged to apply
