About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg for a full-time, night shift role in a fast-paced acute care unit.
Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate patient care for diverse conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, post-surgical recoveries, and CHF.
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms via telemetry and interpreting strips.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Assisting with outpatient infusions and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Supporting a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 16-bed unit with high patient turnover.
Qualifications
- Current RN license and 2–5 years of acute or rural hospital experience.
- Required certifications: BLS and PALS.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
- Telemetry experience preferred.
