Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical-Surgical care, working in a 36-bed unit focusing on cardiac, stroke, and higher-acuity patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans based on assessments.
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions.
- Collaborate across disciplines for transfer, discharge, and psychosocial support.
- Educate patients and families tailored to their needs.
- Delegate tasks to ancillary staff and precept students and new hires.
- Deliver high-quality care during night shifts.
- Participate in rotation of weekends and holidays.
- Support patient outcomes through teamwork and resource management.
Qualifications
- Valid Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain.
