Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Medical / Surgical Orthopedics unit.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Affords patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Captures patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required.
Skills

Wage scale: $42.14 - $78.11 per hour.
