Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical Department to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

Responsibilities

• Document patient conditions and communicate with the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living and coordinate care transitions
• Educate patients and families
• Advocate for patient well-being
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain reliable attendance

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or a compact license
• Accredited ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• At least one year of RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Handle with Care certification
