Position Details
Full-time, day shift (0700-1900), with a commitment bonus of $15,000 for two years.
Role Overview
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care, monitor conditions, and communicate with the care team, patients, and families.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Educate patients and families tailored to their age, culture, and needs.
- Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education initiatives.
- Maintain reliable attendance and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active, unencumbered RN license in Iowa or a Compact State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Compassionate caregiver with strong communication skills.
- Team player committed to quality patient care and ongoing professional development.
