Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical

About the role

Clinch Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. This position offers a Full-Time Night Shift schedule with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

Requirements

• Current Virginia state or compact state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in Medical Surgical setting
• Previous experience in a hospital setting

Pay

Hourly range: $30.64 to $41.37

Schedule

Full-Time Night Shift with rotating weekends
