About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical Department to provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with practice standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
- Document patient conditions
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Coordinate care transitions
- Educate patients and families
- Advocate for patient well-being
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education
- Maintain reliable attendance
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
- ASN degree from an accredited program
- BLS certification
- At least one year of RN experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS certification
- ACLS certification
- Handle with Care certification
