Join the RN Med Surg Team at Iredell Health System on Three North, a department where you care for a diverse patient population ranging from 5 days old to 100 years old. This full-time night shift position (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week) offers a $4 night shift differential, a $4 pediatric differential when assigned to pediatric beds, and an additional $10/hour for any hours worked over 36 per week.

Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) prescribes nursing care, delegates nursing activities, and coordinates the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to provide optimal quality care consistent with the hospital’s mission and nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards. The RN has full access to patient health information.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina
- Certification in BCLS by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation, including age and population-specific skills for the area of practice and addressing the growth and development needs of patients
Essential Physical Requirements
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for the position, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Pay
- Base pay plus $4 night shift differential
- $4 pediatric differential when assigned to pediatric beds
- Additional $10/hour for any hours worked over 36 per week
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates
