Join our Med/Surg Observation team in Sheboygan, where you'll care for patients requiring short-term, focused monitoring and rapid clinical decision-making. Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and evaluation.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families.
- Use evidence-based practices and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- Identify risks and maintain a safe care environment.
- Float to other units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications
- RN license in applicable state
- BLS required (additional certifications may be required based on specialty)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred

- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Ability to manage fast-paced, short-stay patient populations.

Physical Requirements
Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling, including assisting with transfers. Must respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Exposure to clinical environments requiring appropriate protective equipment.
